Gartner predicts that global semiconductor capital expenditure will grow 10.2 per cent in 2017 Worldwide semiconductor capital expenditure is projected to increase by 10.2 per cent in 2017, to US$ 77.7 billion, according to Gartner Inc. This is due to aggressive investments in memory and leading-edge logic, which are driving spending on wafer-level manufacturing equipment.

CII drives energy efficiency through inverterisation The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing a National Seminar on ‘Inverterisation for Energy Efficiency: Technology, Applications and Opportunities’ on September 26, 2017 at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi, which highlights the need for adoption of energy efficient appliances for addressing increasing demand of energy.
